American Bladesmith Society Mid-America Hammer In

This event was held on August 24-26 2007 in Troy Ohio. I spent Friday and Saturday absorbing lots of information on grinding forging cutting and designing from ABS Masters and Journeymen.. I had a really good time.

Kevin did a cutting demo that included cutting everything from 1-1/2" free hanging hemp rope, water bottles soda cans business cards news paper  a 2 X 4 and more.

Don Fogg demonstrates forging mosaic Damascus. He forged a a billet of W pattern and jelly roll pattern

Linda Williams spent the weekend working on a couple of hunters with instruction from ABS Journeyman Wes Byrd.

Mike Roberts also spent the weekend forging knives with the help of Master Smith Greg Neely and journeymen smith Wes Byrd.
