This migration style seax is forged to shape from high carbon 1087 steel. The handle is a lightly figured bird's eye maple which is attached to a full tang with brass pins. The edge hardened blade is 9-1/2" long and is 1-3/4" wide.   The overall length is 15-1/2" long. The sheath is from the same plank of maple as the grip.
